A Little More About Me

Every time we meet a new person one of the first questions we ask is "what do you do?" so first let me answer that question for you guys. Hi, my name is Sierra Russell. I am almost a sophomore in college (two finals to go!) studying biology along with secondary education, and math. I currently work as a teacher's assistant at a Catholic private school. My hopes for the future are to teach middle school and high school math and science. Maybe someday I will go to medical school and open a family practice, but right now I want to focus on educating. Needless to say I currently hold a lot of titles: daughter, sister, student, teacher, employee, coworker, friend. I am getting better at balancing all of those titles, specifically with balancing my time. Now, I am not perfect by any means. Heck, I overcommitted myself just this week and got myself in a pickle. Regardless, I love what I do.

In my free time I love watching Atlanta United dominate the field, listening to music, and attending musicals or concerts. My favorite movies include Notting Hill, and The Proposal. My favorite TV shows include Star Trek: The Next Generation, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Criminal Minds, The Good Doctor, and Jane the Virgin. I love a fresh manicure, it is one of the best mood and confidence boosters. I am a serious night owl. Living in the South I love sweet tea and Cheerwine.

The current artist on replay are Old Dominion, John Mayer (always), Ed Sheeran (also always), and The Vamps. Other artists slip into my queue here and there but this week I have stuck to my absolute favorites. The songs I knew would help me relax and enjoy the day. I have also taken some time this week to think about my summer plans as I count down to the end of the semester. I am super excited to share my plans and the different content I am going to be working on soon!
